This entertainment stand is based on a custom piece I did a few years ago. I changed a few details and dimensions after the custom piece. The one shown was for a customer who wanted an old look, but still a piece of fine furniture. After showing a few wood samples, the customer settled on spalted maple. To be honest I was unsure of doing a whole piece out of it, but after the oil went on I must admit, it came alive. The customer made a good choice in lumber selection. The customer was kind enough to let me include the picture of the piece in his home.
